These projects were created for a class at Glendale College, CSC284AA Web Programming and Design with Flash MX software.

Project 1
Promotional clip for Fraud In Other Words


Features:
An imported animated gif of a guy with binoculars shoulder surfing. It is converted to a movie clip.
A rectangle with a blue and white linear color mix swatch.
Blue ball made with radial color mix gradient fill. The ball follows a guide line that slopes upward to the right. A motion tween increases the size of the ball and rotates the ball.
Multiple layers of text converted to graphic symbols with motion tweens to change their location.
Alpha tween of some titles for fade in effect.
Parchment background made with manually tiled images.
Turquoise rectangles with rounded ends.
SWF object embedded within a table.

Project 2-1
Animated clip for Baby Photography Racket


Features:
Movie clip of yellow duck with motion tween that changes location, scale, and rotation, and repeats indefinitely.
Green duck with motion tween that changes location and rotation and animates only once.
Baby photo that increases in size and fades in with alpha effects.
Baby article text with invisible link to another web page.
Sunshine image with motion tweens.
Red oval button for Business Services that changes color on mouse events. Button plays a hum sound. The button links to my external Web site and opens a new window.
Multiple buttons for links to other web pages. The words next to the buttons display additional "pop up" text on mouse over.
Light gray words GCC Disclaimer link to disclaimer page.
The contact information has an action e-mail link to me.

Project 2-2
Disclaimer page

Features:
Black and white background with linear color mix.
Skull and crossbones image revealed with mask and loop.
Button with sound that links to a web page.

Project 3-1
Gullibility Test with preloader

Features:
Entire movie plays automatically after the preloader scene.
Preloader uses getBytesLoaded, percentage loaded text, and a visual status bar.
Buttons with sounds to play timeline sections separately - Intro, Question 1, Question 2, Question 3.
Buttons with sounds for pause and replay.
Gray stucco background under another white alpha layer to make the image brighter.
An alpha tween of the helicopter to fade in the image.
Mask and motion tween of Million Dollar Bill.
Image of Egyptian is under another black layer that has an alpha tween to gradually make it appear darker.
Text in last frame has an invisible link to my main Web site.

Project 3-2
Ski Camelback

Features:
A white alpha layer is used to make the background snow picture white instead of gray. It also helps to make the white backgrounds of some animated images blend better.
Replay and stop buttons.
Button to make spruce tree grow 5%. Multiple clicks may be used until the tree shrinks back to original size to prevent image distortion.
Image of Camelback Mountain was cropped, scaled, and rotated.
Six images were resized and converted to transparent backgrounds.
Movie clip of Santa on a snowmobile with an if-then-else structure which changes his position.
Motion tween of snowman on a snowmobile.
First skier is a motion tween that follows a curved line guide layer and is rotated to follow the angles down the ski slope.
Second skier movie clip skids down slope using an if-then-else structure to change his position.
Use the button to make the second skier rotate 60 degrees for each press to tumble down the slope.
Where's Santa text button with mouse over text with a clue for finding Santa again.

Project 4-1
Shredded Photo Puzzle

Features:
Flash 6 detection with alternate jpg image.
Photo of Ponzi spliced into shreds with PaintShop Pro.
Photo shreds converted to movable movie clips to drop into the yellow target area. They are snapped to specific target locations to properly align the photo.
Pyramid button with sound that plays an external movie clip with Ponzi biography.
Money background used 40% brightness for contrast.

Project 4-2
Ponzi Biography
Movie clip of biography in a text box with a scroll bar.
Text box has an alpha background to reveal money image.
