Book Description
Fraud In Other Words: Professional Jargon and Uncensored Street Slang
by Larry C. Adams
uncovers the amazing regional and international terminology used by fraudsters and fraud examiners. Internet swindles sparked a firestorm of new lingo, yet some expressions of deception are rooted in ancient Greek mythology. This is an eye-opening collection of definitions, word histories, case anecdotes, and tips to deter fraud.

Fraud In Other Words is an enlightening resource for business executives, accountants, auditors, attorneys, investigators, and writers, who frequently encounter curious words and phrases they are not familiar with.

Fraud In Other Words started as the popular series of articles that Larry Adams writes for FRAUD Magazine, The White Paper: Topical Issues on White-Collar Crime, and newsletters of professional organizations.

This is serious stuff!

  • Buy the book for your boss's birthday. Better yet, buy one for yourself instead and then impress your boss with your new knowledge.
  • Not seen on TV and unavailable in fine bookstores everywhere.
  • Some of the stories are rather amusing. They won't get you a gig in a comedy club, but then, this is about as funny as auditors get.

I'm not sleeping - I'm nearsighted!
